• Fixed bug which prevented deleting a Trackable image if that image was set as the default image for the item

• Fixed error on membership comparison page when viewed in certain languages
• Added paging to Geocaching in the News page so all stories no longer appear in one long list
• Added code to remove null characters from cache descriptions/log before creating a GPX file to allow Garmin devices to read it properly
• Fixed eniro.fi maps link on cache pages for caches in Finland
• Fixed alignment of profile stats chronology when viewed in languages other than English
• Fixed display of search results to align description when "placed by" field length causes it to wrap to a third line
• Fixed display of log date in the Premium Member Only cache audit log to match the user's preference
• Expanded the number of rows in the cache submission/edit Short Description textbox
• Removed numerous duplicate device entries in the list of GPS devices provided in the cacher profile
• Fixed bug encountered when paging a Pocket Query preview followed by previewing on the map
• Fixed localization issue on Trackables edit and activation page which caused some fields to be displayed in brackets
• Print-friendly cache pages now correctly display line breaks
• Fixed mileage calculation for Trackables when they have been added to caches along the Prime Meridian
• Returned the Hide count to the Friend's page
• Fixed display bug for accounts with no Trackables in the inventory when viewing Your Trackable Item Logs in profile
• Added missing Feedback tab to account details, GPS reviews, and hotels pages
• Fixed display of watchlist icon on cache pages when the user's language preference is set to Portuguese
• Resized the Feedback tab to reduce overlap on cache details pages when viewed in a low resolution
• Removed text at the bottom of bookmark lists not owned by you which inaccurately reports that you have created 0 of the max 40 bookmark lists
• Added gxproxy.com to the Geocoin Manufacters/Resellers list
• Updated cache type descriptions in multiple areas for consistency
• Fixed display issue when viewing Trackables home page in Firefox 3.6
• Fixed sorting of Trackable logs to be by the log date rather than the date it was last modified
• Fixed bug causing the thumbnail map on cache pages to not display an indication that it is loading in either IE or Chrome
• Removed cache size dropdown for Mega and CITO events
• Updated Friends page to display date in the user's preferred format
• When viewing the list of a user's finds the column normally titled "Last Found" will now say "Found by User"
• Fixed bug where the formatting of a multi-paragraph cache log is not retained when viewed in the Geocaches section of the profile.
• Fixed issue causing dropdown navigation to fail when viewed on mobile browsers
• Fixed bug which caused a Trackable log to not immediately display in the profile quick view
• The checkbox to "Add to your Favorites" has been removed for cache owners when posting a log to a cache they own
• Updated text in post-log Favorites Points messaging to be less chatty
• Updated Statistics page to display date in the user's preferred format

Enfim, um absurdo pegado. Para já convidava os meus amigos a votar na reimplementaçao das datas nos logs, substituidas que foram por algo tipo "há 20 dias".

devo dizer que não concordo com o contador à parte... se fazem contador à parte para os challenges, façam para tudo! para os citos e para os eventos!

Eu acho que não estás a medir bem o alcance desta situação. E, já agora, também preferiria nivelar nesse sentido (os contadores). Mas como isso seria pedir de mais, pelo menos que não piorem as coisas. As challenges são um escândalo a toda a linha. Quer dizer, por alguma razão a resposta massiva da comunidade é contrária. Nem sei pode onde começar. Aliás, nem começo. É simples de perceber.

Já baixei a aplicação - o que significa que, sim, vou jogar, e ver se gosto ou não.

Agora... o que é que beijar um sapo tem a ver com geocaching? Aqui é que, para mim, reside o cerne da questão - é um jogo completamente diferente! Na realidade, acho que mesmo a associação às Locationless (não era para isso que o waymarking servia???) é muito ténue, difusa e desnecessária - qual é a necessidade de ligação a um passado longínquo e que, muito sinceramente, saiu do geo.com porque, nas palavras da Groundspeak na altura, era "um jogo diferente".

Não tenho nada contra as Challenge, já baixei a aplicação (estou a repetir-me), vou jogar e até imagino que venha a gostar de algumas - porque não? Mas, acho que devemos manter o contador separado (isto, se quiserem mesmo manter as challenge no geo.com, o que dá um jeitão à Groundspeak porque assim facilita a penetração do jogo) - por isso, os meus três votos já seguiram o link do Torgut...

Estava à espera de algo diferente!
Nos moldes em que a coisa está, não obrigado! Pelo menos por agora!
Sinceramente, vejo pouca diferença entre challenges e waymarking!!
Mas (tenho fé, sou um crente) penso que poderá (TEM DE) melhorar! Porque nem tudo é mau!
Agrada-me a ideia, por exemplo, de ter de subir aos clérigos e tirar uma foto no local.
Já não me agrada a ideia de, por exemplo, tirar uma foto numa "ménage à trois" com o Cocas e a Miss Piggy!

De qualquer forma, mantenham esta coisa bem longe dos meus "founds"!

quanto a mim as challenges podem ser um jogo semelhante...

já vi é que as pessoas abusam... os challenges deviam ser revistos antes de publicados e deviam ter obrigação de aceitação pelo owner nem que fosse sempre através de fotos...

eu não sou contra, mas não deve demorar muito... entretanto, sem querer, completei o meu primeiro :p

Challenges ... algo interessante se for bem jogado! Tal como li algures num log, até é engraçado subir aos Clérigos e tirar uma foto no local ou sentar-me ao colo do Camões e mais uma vez fotografar o facto para comprovar que de facto ali estive.
O problema disto tudo é que assim se vê quem anda apenas atrás de números e fica a fazer geocaching de sofá e depois limita-se a colocar uma foto que foi buscar à net.
Ora se isto é adulterar resultados, então os challenges não deviam aumentar o número de founds e deveriam ser contabilizados à parte.
Com isto tudo não quer dizer que não jogue mas ao menos que comprove com fotos onde apareça que de facto estive no local ou que concretizei o desafio pedido.

Outra coisa ... ora aparecem ora são arquivados e muitas vezes nem dá tempo de carregar a foto e o desafio já foi arquivado!

Enfim, é uma opinião...

Também recebi a mensagem esta manhã. E a de que a manutenção dos contadores separados está a ser ponderada.

De resto, há muito tempo que não via uma reacção tão negativa a uma iniciativa da Groundspeak - as Challenge estão a ser literalmente odiadas por uma parte significativa da comunidade. No entanto, não posso deixar de reparar que há algumas challenges interessantes, como a da recolha de lixo, por exemplo - e outras que estão a ser rapidamente arquivadas por causa das reacções negativas, o que significa que estão a olhar para o feedback que estão a receber.
