Ao vasculhar pelo forum encontrei isto:

The following is a request and reply another stargate owner had from a cacher to send something via his Stargate cache. biggrin.gif
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We received some email from a local cacher, who wanted to know if his particular travel bug would fit through the wormhole. The bug in question is a full-sized adult bicycle, complete with a child seat attachment.

Not surprisingly, we didn't feel like paying to ship it somewhere :-)
We thought you might be interested in the response that we sent:

"Energy consumption during a wormhole activation varies exponentially with the mass of the object being transported.

A geocoin, or an empty TB tag, uses very little energy; its effect on the local power grid is barely detectable even by electronic sensors. Slightly larger bugs, such as the standard action-figure or toy-car type, cause a small surge, generally resulting in a brief dimming of the lights in the surrounding area -- not enough to do any harm. Heavier bugs, such as tag with two dozen keychains attached, have been known to cause temporary power failures. These failures last only a second or so, but they do result in people having to reset all of their electronic clocks (which would all be blinking"12:00" after the wormhole activation).

After estimating the dimensions and weight of the bicycle TB, we have determined that sending it through the stargate wormhole most likely shut down the power grid over the entire eastern seaboard. This outage would have the type of cascading effect that would make it unlikely for the power to automatically resume after the wormhole had closed; it would most likely take several days for the power to be restored to the entire region.

There would probably have been a time when this would be worth the risk. But in this day and age, such a power outage could be deemed an act of terrorism by Homeland Security, possibly resulting in the shutdown of the entire stargate network.

In short, we are very sorry, but the answer is no, the bicycle will not fit through the wormhole. Please feel free to use the stargate network for regular-sized travel bugs, though."

Este assunto foi debatido na ML dos Stargate Owners, o Petrus, da África do Sul também contou este episódio

Hi to all here for South Africa P2628,

I had a similar request about 6 months ago. Not in size though, but rather in weight, a TB attached to a rock weighting in at around 36 kgs or then on the other side of 70+ pounds. Not a cheap article to ship and seeing that it was organic, don’t think customs would have been happy either.
